FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

This international company is a leading global supplier of water treatment, waste water treatment and process systems solutions.

The products and services are used to optimise total water process system performance, safeguard customer assets from corrosion, fouling and scaling, and protect the environment through water and energy conservation.

 

He or she will report to the to the Field Service Manager.

 

Our client is looking for an field service engineer.

Role

 

The Field Service Engineer is professional service provider in the water treatment industry.

She or he provides service where needed . The following activities are a guideline; others can be part of the job scope:

 

• EH&S compliance
• Equipment Start up and Commissioning
• On site chemical testing
• Site Surveys
• Management of Repairs/Maintenance/warrantee
• Contacts with customers
• Minor assembly, as required
• Project co-ordination
• Customer reporting/Data processing
• Support for costing of contracts.
• First line trouble shooting
• Technical training
• Contractor supervision if required
• Participation in Piloting and Field trials when required
• Servicing of Chemical Accounts
• Participating in the local team meetings to share best practices.

 

Profile

Experience

 

• 1-5 years experience in a Chemical or Electrical or Mechanical background.

Competences

 

• Diplomacy
• Good communication skills
• Service mentality, customer is number one

 

Languages

 

• Dutch and English; both excellent written and spoken.
