Our client is a leading international company in the area of noise and vibration isolation systems for building, industry and railway infrastructure. The company is active in engineering, production and implementation of noise and vibration isolation systems in more than 30 countries worldwide, employs 100 people, and is recognized to be the market leader in its field. It has known a significant growth rate over the last years, and is heading for more growth in the coming years.
In order to enhance their commercial team the company is looking for a
SALES ENGINEER
Noise & Vibration systems for railway infrastructure
Role
The sales engineer will be responsible for developing the business in the countries where the company has no local presence. He/she will have responsibilities in different stages of the commercial processes :
- pre sales stage:
- Working together with external commercial forces to gather information on commercial opportunities and explore leads in the assigned area.
- Supporting commercial forces (agents, partners, architects, …) by advising them on the choice of technical solutions,
- Use internal and external know how to develop optimal in innovating tailor made solutions
- Elaborate the optimal technical solution for given projects, with the help of the R&D department
2. after sales stage
- Support the technical and project management colleagues in the coordination of all projects that take place in the assigned region
- advising the client according to their specific needs and problems
Profile
Education
- Degree in industrial or civil engineering, preferably in construction
- Any extra education or degree welcome
Experience
- +/- 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering environment
- experience in the domain of railway infrastructure is considered as a strong asset
Competences
- Strong commercial skills and orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial feeling and drive
- Eager to learn
- Team player
Languages
- Very good English and Dutch or French
- Other languages are an asset
